My First Ad… it's so exciting
Well, I finally have my first online ad! It’s an exciting time for my Virtual Assistant business. I am finally starting to feel like things are moving and confident that this venture will be a success. Plan, prepare and organize and it can happen!
I invite you all to check out the ad… it is on the VAnetworking site – my favourite place for VA support. Go to the site and look on the left as you scroll down and there you will find Time on Task VA! Please let me know what you think after seeing it too, I really appreciate feedback.
VAnetworking has millions of hits each months and close to 200,000 unique visits! It’s great exposure! And, this site is not just for VAs, they have tons of info here that can benefit business owners of any type, and many of these resources are very valueable, and free – the best kind!
Blogging Seminar was postponed
Well, many excited people were on the webinar tonight, anticipating a great seminar on Blogging by Kathie Thomas. Unfortunately, there were some technical difficulties and she could not do the presentation. It will be presented at another time and I will re post when that happens,
Just a reminder that these seminars at VAnetworking are not strictly for Virtual Assistants, and really, many of the topics can be applied to any type of business. If you check the page weekly, you will see what new FREE seminar is up for this Wednesday night. They are always at 7pm Eastern time.
Some of the recent topics have been; Facebook as a tool for business, Smartsheet training session, Copywriting techniques, Creating passion for work and life you will love, and so on. A real variety of topics that will interest many types of business and owners. VAnetworking is also having their weekly Free Eseminar on Wednesday November 5th at 7pm Eastern time. This seminar is open to anyone with a VAnetworking membership (free to join). Kathie Thomas will be presenting the topic “All about Blogging”, geared for for individuals and businesses.
You should know that these Wednesday seminars presented by VAnetworking may be run by a Virtual Assistant association, but many of them are helpful for any business in any industry, you do not have to be a VA to join in. Seminar info and be found at www.vanetworking.com/seminars

Facebook, as a marketing tool?
I am in the process of taking an Internet Marketing Certification course at VAClassroom, so I was very excited to see the topic for the VAnetworking seminar this week:
Facebook Fortunes: How To Explode Your Online Profits Using Social Media – Mari Smith has written a book on how professionals can use Facebook to strategically grow your business. She’ll be doing this seminar on Wednesday October 22 at 6pm Eastern time. The seminar is open to anyone as long as you are a VAnetworking member – which is FREE.
If you have ever wondered how businesses are using Facebook, this is probably a seminar to listen in to. I can’t wait to hear all about it Wednesday! It’s very interesting how many businesses are starting to realize that Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and many more social media sites are helping businesses.
The biggest obstacle for many is learning how to use these tools to the best advantage and having the time to do so. Many Virtual Assistants like myself are doing just that for businesses – keeping your social media up to date and in a manner that will bring you more business.
VAnetworking also has a networking chat for VAs right after these weekly seminars, so if you are a VA or just thinking about becoming one, it’s a great place to connect with other VAs.
