Well, the holidays are a week away and I am off tomorrow night to enjoy my Virtual Assistant Christmas Party.  You’ll note from my post on December 5th that I do enjoy my Christmas Parties!

And why not, food, friends, meeting new people, prizes, music, sometimes dancing (I remember one great Royal Bank party – we were dancing in the branch, on top of the wickets, to Bananarama’s Venus!) … and of course a few drinks or two… :-)

My  family as well as some friends and business connections are chuckling already about my party tomorrow – because it is a virtual party.  I will be here in my office, with my snacks, headset and microphone, a couple drinks and plan to have a great time with all my VAnetworking friends from all over the world!  There will be people from British Columbia, me from Nova Scotia, Ontario, Texas, Michigan, New Jersey, Australia and more.  I am hoping to win some of the prizes – there’s apparently thousands of dollars in prizes up for grabs.

So laugh all you want, but no matter what I plan to have a fantastic work party tomorrow!  Working virtually means doing many things differently – even parties!
